Dairy managers and technicians often face the following questions: “What needs to be changed to increase the economic efficiency of the dairy? What can be altered in the technological process in order to raise the quality of the product? What equipment should be selected; etc..”. The search for answers is time-consuming, requires effort and resources but the end result is not always constructive and often you are back to where you started from. We will help you to examine these issues thoroughly at the International Conference «Milk Rivers – 2005».
The conference does not provide universal recipes. However, the most successful examples of increasing dairy efficiencies will be presented here. Experts, who have succeeded in establishing successful dairy businesses in countries recognized as world leaders in dairy production have been invited to the conference. Scientists from research institutes, international dairy consultants and managers of leading dairies in the U.S.A., Germany, Holland, Canada, France, Sweden and Ukraine will address the conference as well. They will share their knowledge and experience with you.
Nowadays, more and more the CIS countries are integrating into the world community; having taken this path it is of the utmost importance to learn as early as possible about global experiences in resource-conservation and to identify means by which to raise production efficiencies. The perspective of an accelerated entry into WTO places one more important issue on the agenda: can domestically produced products be competitive in price and in quality with world analogues.
The market is providing opportunities for product distribution and sales. The responsibility of the producers is to level out the conditions for production, to lower the cost of milk production and to increase the profits as a result of these multiple advantages. And although many of our compatriots are still fearful of entering the world market, international experts recognize that there is a tremendous potential for the development of dairy business in CIS countries. They have solid grounds on which to make such statements.
As the economy grows in many of the countries of the world so does the demand for milk and milk products. However, availability of resources and production capacities, i.e., in Western Europe, are limited. In Eastern European countries, they are not utilized at full capacity. Meanwhile this region has plenty of significant advantages: favorable climatic conditions, availability of large areas for agricultural purposes, low cost feed, vast market for milk products and positive trends in the development of the economy.
This means that the prerequisites for the successful development of an efficient dairy business exist. What is lacking is knowledge and experience. The International Dairy Production Conference «Milk Rivers - 2005» will help to eliminate this shortcoming.
Investors, dairy producers, representatives of the milk processing industry, farmers, scientists, experts, government officials at the Ministries of Agricultural Policy of Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan who oversee the dairy sector will be invited to take part in the Conference. The total number of the Conference participants is expected to be around 500 persons.
INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE «Milk Rivers – 2005» will take place in Maiskoye Village, Synelnikovsky District, Dnepropetrovsk Region, where the Model Farm of CJSC «Agro-Soyuz» is located.
Favourable conditions are created for fruitful work at the Conference:
